As with so many things made at home, this pizza costs less than pre-made and you know what is in it. A win-win situation. This is a Kitchen Aid recipe, the addition of honey was mine. This pizza dough is simple and you can easily double or triple the batch. I like to make individual pizzas so everyone can have their favorite toppings. Pepperoni  Cheese Mushroom, basil, onion, & mozzarella   Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, onion, and BBQ sauce 1 pkg. active dry yeast (or 2 1/4...

Why pay a lot for someone to make a smoothie for you when they are so easy to make yourself? And special requests are no problem since these are SUPER easy to customize. Simply start with those requesting the fewest ingredients. I make the OJ/strawberry/lime juice base first for 2 Ross family members, then add blueberries for a 3rd, then add yogurt for the 4th and 5th. Effortless. Enjoy!   (Ingredients: OJ, strawberries, blueberries, lime juice, low-fat plain yogurt) 3/4 c. orange juice 10...

Black Bean and rice burritos

Posted by Jacinda on Jan 17, 2011 in Recipes | 0 comments

The combo of black beans and corn is always a winner in my book. The sauce for these burritos is SO good. It’s a medium-difficulty as far as recipe ratings go, but worth the effort and they warm up well later on (just store the sauce in a separate container to be added when warming up). Enjoy! SAUCE: 2 tsp. olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 red onion, diced finely 2 c. tomato sauce 3 c. water 3 Tbsp. chili powder 4 Tbsp. cornstarch or arrowroot splash of Sriracha BURRITOS: 2 c. jasmine...
