Tip of the Day—Sriracha!

I love, love, love Sriracha! It is the perfect condiment for some added heat…it’s a nice heat that has a slow burn, but not bitter, and doesn’t leave your mouth feeling like it’s on fire. And, with it’s lovely red color and cheerful green cap you just can’t go wrong! :)

If you aren’t familiar with Sriracha (pronounced si-racha), it is a hot, red chili paste and goes with just about everything food type…Asian, American, Mexcian…it’s fantastic! I used it tonight in my marinade for steak tacos and roasted veggies and it was awesome. Word of caution…a little goes a LONG way and I wouldn’t recommend trying it by itself because it would be super spicy in that form. You can also add it to curry sauces, Huevos Rancheros, wraps, or tacos.

So, pick some up today (it’s under $4) and give it a try. If you don’t like it, I’m sure you can find someone to take it off your hands.
